Aastra and IBM BCRS Deliver Hosted Call Center


Dallas, TX – January 12, 2009 - Aastra USA Inc., a leading provider of IP-Telephony and Contact Center solutions for large enterprises, has teamed with IBM Business Continuity and Resiliency Services (BCRS), to deploy over 20,000 seats on its Centergy Virtual Contact Center® (CVCC) hosted solution. Business continuity and resiliency services help ensure uninterrupted operations across all layers of the business, as well as helping businesses avoid, prepare, and recover from a disruption. The CVCC Hosted Solution is an entirely web-based application that allows IBM clients to login and take calls from any BCRS recovery center, mobile unit or from any other site of their choosing. With only a telephone and a web browser, employees can immediately become productive agents, eliminating service disruptions

Centergy Virtual Contact Center (CVCC) is a completely web-based solution that provides the functionality of premises-based solutions without the infrastructure and associated maintenance and costs. CVCC includes intelligent network ACD, advanced skills-based routing, integrated IVR and real-time reporting – all accessible from a browser. Agents can use their existing phones and an Internet connection to take calls anywhere, anytime.
