Hugh Scholaert of Aastra to Present at VoiceCon Spring 2007

President of Aastra USA, Inc. Participates in Executive Forum on the Future of Enterprise Communications

Dallas, TX, February 27, 2007 — The role of IP telephony in enterprise communications is always a hot topic at telecommunications conferences.  Hugh Scholaert, President of Aastra USA, Inc. will discuss market trends and product directions together with a panel of industry experts on Tuesday, March 6 at VoiceCon® Spring 2007.  The forum will analyze what is required to leverage IP Telephony platforms in support of a new generation of applications and capabilities — from unified communications and mobility to collaboration, from call centers to distributed networking, from back-office functions to customer-facing, revenue-generating activities.  “I am pleased to be participating in this VoiceCon Executive Forum again this year,” said Hugh Scholaert.  “Aastra has a rich history of IP innovation and we are committed to staying an industry leader.” 

Mr. Scholaert is one of the founders of Aastra Technologies, Inc. and a member of the board of directors since the company’s inception in 1983.
